Ronaldo Crowned as “Greatest of All Time” by Portuguese League

Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has been honored as the “Greatest of All Time” by the Portuguese Football League. The award, announced on Wednesday (10 September) in Lisbon, recognized his outstanding achievements with the national team, where he has scored 141 goals in 223 appearances and played a pivotal role in winning the Euro and Nations League titles.

Although absent from the ceremony, Ronaldo expressed gratitude through a video message, thanking teammates, coaches, and supporters, adding that winning for Portugal has always been his greatest honor.

Recently, Ronaldo scored his 39th goal in World Cup qualifiers, sharing the all-time record with Guatemala’s Carlos Ruiz. One more goal will make him the outright top scorer in qualifier history.
